CBS March Madness

Back by popular demand, we developed real-time, triggerable “Team-mojis” for CBS’s March Madness studio show in 2021 and 2022. These AR avatars are highly customizable with nearly 100 animations, dozens of special FX options, and full runtime controls of team, color, studio placement, and scale. A dedicated “Team-moji” operator worked in tandem with the March Madness show director to block and execute a variety of playful, dynamic skits, woven throughout the tournament. These little guys were such a hit, we even created a new fan-favorite “Chuck-moji” for CBS host Charles Barkely.
