Silver Spoon collaborated with visionary director Ryan Staake and MPC to bring a surreal, layered narrative to life for Ed Sheeran and Chance the Rapper’s music video, Cross Me. Centered on the boundary-pushing concept of a motion-capture performer losing herself between digital and physical realities, we were tasked with capturing the emotional weight and physical nuance of dancer Courtney Scarr’s performance—which was then translated into a kaleidoscopic CG journey. The video features fluid transitions between stark studio realism and fantastical digital landscapes, as Scarr’s avatar morphed into representations of both artists. The result is a visceral dance through identity, performance, and synthetic space.
