VISION

Flying High in Real-Time

Partnering with First Tube and eighteentwentysix, Silver Spoon brought the iconic Grey Goose flock to life in an ethereal, live broadcast mixed reality (MR) experience for a Kehlani concert at Pier 17 in Manhattan.

We began with premium 3D modeling, rigging and animation to create two realistic and graceful "flyover" moments. The animation was then optimized for live playback through Unreal Engine, incorporating real-time particle simulation and runtime controls for color and lighting to perfectly blend the real with the unreal. Utilizing Pixotope for live compositing, the augmented reality (AR) geese seamlessly blend into live shots from the concert, moving across two AR cameras tracked using Stype Red Spy tracking.

Enhancing the viewing experience for fans watching remotely, as well as in the venue, Grey Goose's innovative use of real-time AR reflects the growing adoption of augmented and mixed reality use in live broadcasting, and particularly in live music
