Get ready to step into a whole new dimension of excitement! Silver Spoon teamed up with ESPN for the 2023 NBA Finals to take mixed reality to the biggest arena in basketball – a cinematic XR production and stunning AR graphics with an industry-first XR to AR transition.

The fusion of ESPN's endless creativity, striking, premium visuals and passion for innovation, matched perfectly with Silver Spoon’s penchant for pushing real-time VFX, motion graphics and animation. Shot at XR Studios in LA, we used Unreal environments and set extensions with foreground art direction and propping to create a unique world for our hero character. This all leads up to a beautiful transition from the real-time rendered sequence to the AR, as the virtual court disappears, and the real stadium is revealed.

Together, we've rewritten the rules of real-time production, offering an adrenaline-pumping sequence, transforming engagement and elevating what’s possilble with XR & AR.
